Russ is a native to Atlanta, Georgia. He has lived in North Georgia for most all of his life. He now resides in Ellijay Georgia, apple country and gateway into the beautiful Blue Ridge, Southern Appalachian/Smokey Mountains. Russ received engineering expertise at Georgia Institute of Technology in Electrical Engineering to pursue a career in Satellite Communications cutting-edge technologies. Russ has enjoyed a distinguished consulting career spanning 30 years. He has worked with Electromagnetic Sciences, Scientific Atlanta, Applied Antenna Technologies, CNN, RCA, NBC, CBS, Televisa S.A., General Dynamics, and served as Director of Engineering with SpaceData International. Russ has served as President/CEO of Pittman Scientifics, and Russ Pittman, Consulting, assisting many companies, engineers, contractors, designers, and architects during startup with business solutions, operations, as well as business planning and marketing strategies & planning. Russ holds many awards, acknowledgements and engineering certifications, State of Georgia unrestricted Low-Voltage Contractor, member of the IEEE and MSUA (Mobile Satellite Users Association). Success in marketing and sales led to career real estate opportunity. Russ brings his know how into the Real Estate Industry within NE Georgia. Currently Russ is supporting Tom Oprandi Realty of Ellijay Georgia with Real Estate sales, land sales, residential & commercial opportunities in the NE Georgia area.
